John died peacefully, surrounded by family at Galway University Hospital. He will be missed by his family and friends and all those who loved him.

Tuesday, 10 June, 2025 Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue, Galway (H91V1K8) from 5 p.m. to 6.30 p.m.

Wednesday, 11 June, 2025 Requiem Mass will be celebrated for John at 12 Noon on arrival at St. Joseph’s Church, Kilkerrin (H53 Y326). John will be laid to rest in Kilkerrin cemetery. Mass will be broadcast on local radio 106.6FM. Requiem Mass will not be live-streamed

Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Avoid closed streets after 6 p.m. with reference to Upper Dominick Street and William Street West.

Car Parking in the area: Street Parking on Munster Avenue, Fr. Griffin Road, The Claddagh, Henry Street , Sea Road. Car Parks: Claddagh Church, Tesco Fr. Griffin Road and Mill Street, close to the Garda Station
