The death has occurred of
John HOLMES
John Holmes of Bray, Co. Wicklow, formerly of Bray U.D.C. and Bray Wanderers F.C., passed away peacefully, on Wednesday 4th June, 2025, after a short illness bravely born and with his beloved wife Margaret by his side.
Eldest son of the late Bridie and Paul Holmes and loving father of the late Stephen. He will be greatly missed by his family, wife Margaret, son Trevor, daughter-in-law Sinéad, Trevor’s partner Emma, grandchildren Emilia, Luca and Siena, whom he adored, siblings Ger, Patricia, Derek, Jacqueline, Michael and Fiona, brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, the Kearney family, relatives, friends and neighbours.
Reposing at Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Sunday 8th June from 3.00pm to 5.00pm. A Celebration of John’s Life will take place on Monday (June 9) at 11.00am in the funeral home, followed by private cremation.
