JOHN CUNNINGHAM Carrownderry, Kiltoom, Athlone, Co Roscommon. June 6th, 2025; (Peacefully), surrounded by his family, at Portiuncula University Hospital, Ballinasloe.

He is predeceased by his beloved wife Nancy (Ann), baby daughter Noelle, parents Patrick and Winifred, his brothers Paddy, Bernie and Martie and his sisters Sr. Margaret and Mary Ann (Galvin).

Much loved father to Padraic, Seamus, Maura, Elaine, John Noel and Mairead. He will be very sadly missed by his loving family, sons-in-law Ken, Michael and Conor, daughters-in-law Ellie, Rhiannon and Aisling, his 17 adored grandchildren, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, his cherished nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and good friends.

Reposing at Smyth’s Funeral Home, Roscommon (F42 NH27) on Tuesday (June 10th) from 4.30 o’c until 7 o’c followed by removal to the Church of the Risen Christ, Kiltoom. Mass of the Resurrection on Wednesday (June 11th) at 11 o’c. Burial afterwards in Kiltoom Cemetery.

The Cunningham family would like to express their heartfelt thanks to all their wonderful neighbours and friends for their kindness and support at this time.
