Joe Gibbons

Joe Gibbons, 26th February 1965 – 20th July 2025, Yonkers, New York, and formerly Kilfea, Islandeady, Castlebar, passed away peacefully following a brief illness surrounded by his caring family.

 

Deeply regretted by his sisters, Mary (Lawless) Cornagushlaun, Islandeady, Bridie (Lawless), Cloonkeen, Castlebar, Frances and Noreen (UK), brothers Padraic (Kilfea, Islandeady) and Tommy (Castlebar) , sister-in-law, Phil, brothers in-law, Martin and Vinnie, Frances’s partner John (Gibbons) Ballintubber, nieces, nephews and extended family including his beloved uncle Jim and aunt Sal.

 

May his gentle Soul Rest in Peace

 

Reposing at St. Aidan’s Room, Islandeady on Saturday (2nd August) from 12 noon, with removal at 1.30pm for Requiem Mass in St. Patrick’s Church, Islandeady..

 

Burial of Cremains afterwards in Islandeady Cemetery.
