Joe Brady

Joe Brady, Shanrath East, Athy, passed away peacefully on 16th September 2025 surrounded by his family at St. Bridget’s Hospice, The Curragh. Joe will be sadly missed by his loving wife June, sons Steve, David, Joe and daughter Gillian, his 8 granddaughters, 4 grandsons, 2 great grandsons, 2 great grand daughters, daughters-in-law Michelle, Siobhan and Juliane, son-in-law John, sister Anne, brothers-in-law Gerry Molloy and Joe Molloy, extended family and many friends. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Christina, sisters Breda and Kathleen and brother Jack Delaney

Joe will repose at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Chapel Hill, Mount Hawkins, Athy (R14 NX80) on Friday evening 19th September from 5pm until 7pm with Rosary at 6.30pm. Removal at 10.45am on Saturday morning 20th September to arrive at St. Michael’s Parish Church, Athy for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Michael’s (New) Cemetery, Athy.
