Joe Barnes

Joe Barnes, Barrister-at-law (Co. Leitrim and formerly of Stepaside, Co. Dublin) – October 28th, 2025. Passed away suddenly at home. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his beloved daughter Rebecca, his old pal Eileen Heron and his wide circle of friends whose joy, generosity and kindness lit up his life. Pre-deceased by his loving parents Do and Eamonn, Mourned by his brothers Paul and John, sisters Mary Jane and Ruth, nieces, nephews, and his extended families.

Joe will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18C8P7) on Sunday evening (Nov 2nd) from 3pm to 5pm. Joe’s Funeral cortège is expected depart from J.P Ward & Sons Funeral Home at 9.45 am on Monday morning (Nov 3rd) and will proceed, at a walking pace, to St. Mary’s Church, Sandyford Village arriving for 10am Mass, followed thereafter to Kilternan Cemetery Park. Those wishing to walk behind Joe’s Funeral cortège are welcome to do so.
