Joan Pakeman
Joan Pakeman (née Kenny), formerly of Hospital, Limerick, passed away peacefully on Sunday, 20th July 2025, in Cork University Hospital, surrounded by her loving family. Predeceased by her beloved husband, Colin, and brothers Jon and Tom and brother-in-law Paul.Joan will be very sadly missed by her sisters, Anne and Deirdre, her sister-in-law, Margie,nieces and nephews Áine, Jack, Patrick, William, Hugh, Aran, and Leah, and by her extended family, neighbours, and friends.
Joan will be reposing at her home, Lisaniska, Windmill Hill, Youghal(P36V489) on Tuesday evening, 22ndJuly, from 5 pm to 7 pm. Private for family only thereafter. Funeral service at St Mary’s Collegiate Church, Youghal, Co Cork, on Wednesday at 11 a.m., followed by burial in North Abbey Cemetery, Youghal. Co. Cork.
Family flowers only. Donations, if desired, in lieu of flowers,to the Irish Cancer Society and Youghal Cancer Support Centre.
