Murray (Meadow Avenue, Hollyhill and formerly of Mount Eden Road, Gurranabraher); On November 3rd 2025, peacefully, at home and in the presence of her loving family, Joan (née O’Herlihy); Beloved wife and best friend of Tom and much loved mother of Mary, Breda, Jonathon and Pat. Predeceased by her sisters Eily, Eleanor & Martha and brothers Donie, Tim, Anthony & Derry.

Sadly missed by her loving husband and family, her brother Jimmy, sisters Theresa, Jane and Winifred, grandchildren James, Greg, Jack, Sophie, John, Jay and Olivia, great-grandchild Maeve, daughters-in-law Angela and Jessica, son-in-law Jimmy, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, kind neighbours, especially Donna and Doreen, and a large circle of friends.

Visitation at O’Connor Bros. Funeral Home, North Gate Bridge on Tuesday 4th November from 5.00pm to 6.00pm with prayers at 5.45pm. Requiem Mass on Wednesday 5th November at 11.00am in the Church of the Resurrection, Farranree. Funeral afterwards to Mary’s Cemetery, Curraghkkipane. House Private. Family flowers only, donations in lieu to Marymount University Hospital & Hospice.

The family would like to express their sincere thanks to Dr. David Lane, Professor Power, and the Marymount nurses, Caroline Hyde and Noreen McSweeney, for the exceptional care they gave to Joan in recent times.
