It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Joan Kirwan, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend who died peacefully on the 28th October 2025. Joan lived a life full of love, kindness and generosity.

Pre-deceased by her parents Michael and Nan, brother Sonny and sisters Anna and May.

She will be lovingly remembered by her beloved husband John, her children Jonathan, Padraig, Jude, Michael and Siobhán, her grandchildren Cameron, Erika, Eve, Alexander, Amellia, Jackson, Eoghan and Cian, her Sister Lily and brother Tony, her son-in-law Jonny and her daughters-in-law Amanda, Tanya and Simi and all who were fortunate enough to share in her life.

Rest in Peace.

Reposing in Tierney's Funeral Home, Roscrea on Friday evening from 5.00pm to 7.00pm. Private removal from her residence on Saturday morning at 11.15am arriving in St. Cronan's Church, Roscrea for Funeral Mass at 12 noon. Burial afterwards in the adjoining new cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Asthma Association of Ireland.
