Joan Farrell (née O’Connor) (Churchtown and formerly of Milltown) – September 17th, 2025. Passed away peacefully surrounded by her family while in the loving care of the staff at St. James’s Hospital. Beloved wife of Billy and predeceased by her adored baby sons Stephen and Jason.

Sadly missed and forever remembered by her husband Billy, brothers Paul and Harry, sisters Imelda, Catherine, Antoinette and Susan, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Joan will repose at JP Ward & Sons Funeral Home, Sandyford Village (D18 C8P7) on Friday evening (Sept 19th) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Saturday morning (Sept 20th) to the Church of the Holy Cross, Main Street, Dundrum arriving for 10am Mass, followed by burial in Deans Grange Cemetery.
