Jimmy Keane

Jimmy Keane, Cross, Binghamstown, Belmullet, Co. Mayo peacefully in the loving care of the Staff of the Aras Deirbhle Nursing Home, Belmullet surrounded by his loving family on 20th July 2025.

Predeceased by his parents Michael and Katie Keane and brother Josie.

Beloved father of Mary and Michael. He will be sadly missed by his heartbroken family, brothers Paddy (Cross, Binghamstown), Peter (Colclough East, Belmullet) and Gerry (Cross, Binghamstown), sisters Mary Cafferkey (Lahardane), Annie Quigley (New Jersey, U.S.A.), Bridie Depolli (Lemington Spa, U.K.) and Lena Friel (Canada), brothers in law Owen and Tony, sisters in law Evelyn, Mary Joe, Cath and Ann (Lemington Spa, U.K.), Mary and Michael’s mother Margaret, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Remains reposing at McDonnell’s Funeral Home, Belmullet on Tuesday evening from 5 o’clock until 7 o’clock with funeral arriving at St. Joseph’s Church, Binghamstown at 8.30. Funeral Mass on Wednesday at 12 noon followed by burial in Cross Cemetery.

Live streaming of the Funeral Mass will be available for viewing on McDonnell Funeral Directors Facebook page on Wednesday at 12 noon with all other funeral services available for viewing on Wednesday evening at 7 o’clock.
