CARTY Jimmy (Jim). Late of Cloone, Gort, Co. Galway and Shepherd's Bush, London, U.K.

 

Jimmy passed away unexpectedly but peacefully on the 18th of June, 2025 at his home in London. He is pre-deceased by his parents Paddy and Kitty, his brothers Tony & Liam and most recently by his dearly beloved nephew Brian on the 10th of January, 2025.

 

Jimmy is deeply missed by his family, loving daughter Claire and her partner Kieran and by his two adored grandchildren Nyla and Leo. Fondly remembered by his brothers Johnny and Pat, sisters Mary and Ann, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, great neighbours and many loyal friends in both Ireland and the U.K.

 

A Memorial Mass for Jimmy will be celebrated in the church of St. Columba, Kilbeacanty (H91 DH68) on Friday evening the 19th of September, 2025 at 8pm.

 

Internment of Jimmy’s ashes will take place in the family grave in Rakerin cemetery on Saturday, 20th of September.
