Jimmy died on October 30th 2025, in his 94th year, peacefully with his family, in the loving care of the staff at Midland Regional Hospital, Tullamore, and previously in the excellent care of the staff at Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara. He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Edward and Agnes, and sisters, Bridget and Kathleen.

Jimmy will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by his loving wife Lily, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and many friends.

Grant Jimmy Eternal Rest and Peace

Jimmy will repose at Esker Rí Nursing Home, Clara on Saturday evening (Nov.1st) from 3pm to 6pm, removal afterwards to the Church of the Holy Family, Tubber arriving at 7.15pm.

Jimmy's Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Sunday (Nov. 2nd) at 12noon, and he will be laid to rest afterwards in Kilcurley Cemetery.

No flowers, please. Donations instead if desired to Temple Street and Crumlin Children's Hospitals.
