James (Shea) Donovan (Larkfield Grove, Dublin 6W) 21st April 2025. Peacefully at St. James’ Hospital in his 96th year. Predeceased by his siblings Kevin, Tom, Marie (Deveney), Breege (McDonagh) Carmel (Priestley) and his nephew Donnall. Shea will be sadly missed especially by Yvonne, Eamonn, John and Eugene and his other nieces, nephews and colleagues in An Post.

A grateful thanks to the carers from Applewood, Family Carers, St Mary's Community Centre, Meals on Wheels, Caroline, Shea’s neighbours in Larkfield; Also the staff of St James' Hospital who looked after Shea with so much care and kindness.

Rest in Peace

Reposing at Fanagans Funeral Home, Lower Kimmage Road, D6W N279 on Thursday (May 1st) from 5pm to 7pm. Removal on Friday (May 2nd) to the Church of of St. Paul of the Cross, Mount Argus for Funeral Mass at 11:30am followed by cremation in Mount Jerome Crematorium. The Funeral Mass may be viewed by selecting the Webstream option below. Family flowers only.
