James (Shay) Stenson

Stenson James (Shay), (late of Walkinstown), 1st November 2025; passed peacefully, surrounded by his loving family in the kind care of the staff of Tallaght University Hospital. Beloved husband and best friend of Irene, much loved dad of Gareth, Ben, David and Robert and cherished grandad to his wonderful grandchildren Éireann, Finn, Darragh, Luke, Katie, Emma, David, Zoe, James and Mathieu. Shay will be forever loved and very sadly missed by his heartbroken wife, sons, grandchildren, daughters-in-law Linda, Lorraine, Susan and Celine, sister Ann, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews especially Dara and Shannon, extended family, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at the Brian McElroy Funeral Home, Crumlin Village on Tuesday (4th November) from 3pm-5pm. Funeral Mass on Wednesday (5th November) at 10am in Church of the Holy Spirit, Greenhills followed by Cremation in The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery arriving at approximately 12noon.

Those who cannot attend the Funeral Mass or Cremation Service, please feel free to leave a message in the condolence book below.
