James O'Donovan

On 16th September 2025 peacefully in the presence of his loving family and in the tender care of the staff of Bantry General Hospital, James, beloved husband of Mary (nee O'Mahony) and loving father of Henry, Claire Anne, Eileen and Theresa. Predeceased by his parents Henry and Mary, sisters Birdie (Keating) and Betty (O'Donovan). Deeply regretted by his loving family, daughter-in-law Noreen, sons-in-law Stephen, Jason and Paul, adored grandchildren Michael and Maura; Lucy-May, James, Brian and Clara; Tadgh, Rosie-May and Jerry; Daniel, Grace and Maya, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Lying in repose at Daly's Funeral Home, Chapel Street, Drimoleague on Friday (19th) from 6pm to 7.30pm followed by prayers. Requiem Mass on Saturday (20th) at 2pm in Church of the Holy Family, Caheragh. Funeral afterwards to Caheragh new cemetery.
