James (Jimmy) Mahedy

The death has occurred of James (Jimmy) Mahedy – Harbour Street, Mullingar and Coolnagun, Co Westmeath and late of Queensbury, London – September 14, 2025 (peacefully) in the tender care of the staff at Newbrook Lodge Nursing Home. Reunited with his beloved wife Evangeline and his sister Marcella. Jimmy will be very sadly missed by his dear daughters Natalie and Grace, his cherished grandchildren Rory and Maggie and Sebastian and Penelope, sons-in-law Paul and Matthew, his sister Noreen and brother Tom, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Gilsenan’s Funeral Home Mullingar (N91 K660) on Thursday September 18 from 9.30 am to 10.30 am followed by Funeral Mass in the Cathedral of Christ the King at 11 am. The Mass may be viewed on the live webcam below. Burial will take place afterwards in Ballyglass Cemetery.
