James (Jim) Smith of Knowth, Slane, Co Meath. 17th September 2025 Peacefully at Suncroft Lodge, Nursing Home, Kildare. Predeceased by his beloved wife Catherine (Kay) and his son Rory. Jim will be very sadly missed and remembered with love by his sons Edward and Brendan, daughter-in-law Lorraine, Brendan’s partner Tiggy, grandchildren Molly, Clara, Evan and Caitlin, great-granddaughter Eibhlin, dearest sister Mona, and many nieces, nephews, relatives, friends, and neighbours.

Reposing at Townley’s Funeral Home, Crosslanes, Drogheda, Co. Louth A92 XN75 on Friday from 5pm until 7pm. Funeral Mass will take place at 11am on Saturday in Church of The Assumption, Monknewtown, Slane Co. Meath C15 DD77 with burial afterwards in Dowth Cemetery. Family flowers only.
