James (Jim) Doyle, Jerpoint West, Thomastown,Co. Kilkenny. Retired Garda, formerly of Athlone, Co Westmeath.

The death has taken place peacefully, of James Doyle in the loving care of the staff of St Columba's Hospital Thomastown, surrounded by his loving family. 16th April 2025. Predeceased by his beloved son Conor, and his sister Mary Long. Deeply regretted by his wife Mary (Mossie), his brother Billy, his children Joan, John, Brendan and Jimmy. Also by Redmond, Mairéad, and Ber, his Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.

MAY JAMES REST IN PEACE

Reposing in the Mercy Side Chapel, Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, from 4pm to 6.30pm on Good Friday, April 18th. Removal on Easter Saturday from his home at 10.15 am for morning Prayers in the Church of the Assumption, Thomastown, at 11am. Burial afterwards in St Mary's New Cemetery, Thomastown, Co Kilkenny.
