James (Jim) Browne

James (Jim) Browne, Ballyglass, Lanesboro, Co. Roscommon, formerly, Kilcurry, Colehill, Co. Longford and Coventry, UK. Passed away peacefully on 28th May 2025, in the wonderful care of Sonas Innis Ree Nursing Home, Ballyleague, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his recently departed wife and best friend, Phil, his parents Joe and Agnes Browne, sisters Martha Glennon (Ballyleague), Anne Thompson (Isle of Man), Vonnie Devine, Delia Shannon, brother Joe Browne (Coventry) and son-in-law Michael Kelly.

Jim will be forever missed by his heartbroken daughters, Helen (Kelly), Teresa (Ormsby), sons, Joseph and Declan, son in law Steve and daughter in law Patricia, his adored grandchildren, Rebecca and Ruth Kelly, Stephen, Siobhan, Aisling and Liam Ormsby, Katie and James Browne; his great grandchildren Lottie and Tommy Ormsby and Éala and Seán Óg Grimes; his sisters, Doreen Kearney and Kathleen Dardis (Ballymahon), brothers, Paddy and Peter (Coventry), brothers in law, sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at his residence Ballyglass, Lanesboro, Co. Roscommon (N39 KN34) on Friday 30th May from 6pm to 9pm. Funeral Mass on Saturday 31st May at 12 noon in The Church of the Holy Rosary, Ballyleague (N39 HV52) followed by burial in Cloontuskert Cemetery.
