Ita died peacefully on Friday, 13th June, with her dearly loved family by her side and in the exceptional care of the staff at Belmont Nursing Home, Stillorgan, Dublin. Predeceased by her husband Charlie and her parents William and Jenny Renihan.
Deeply loved and mourned by her children Dorothy, Charles, Judith and Conor, and her cherished grandchildren Stephanie, Adrian, Eleanor, Michael, Emily, Seán, Doireann and Liam. Ita will be forever loved and missed by her family, her adored only sister Nuala and brother-in-law Des, her sons-in-law Conor and Mike, daughters-in-law Samantha and Corinna, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and lovely friends.
May her gentle soul rest in peace

Funeral Arrangements
Monday, June 16, 2025 - Reposing at the O’Flaherty Funeral Parlour, Munster Avenue (H91V1K8) from 5.00 p.m. Removal at 6.30 p.m. to the Church of Christ the King, Salthill.
Tuesday, June 17, 2025 - Requiem Mass will be celebrated for Ita at 11 a.m. Following Mass, she will be laid to rest in Rahoon cemetery.

Parking and the entrance to the funeral parlour - Please approach the funeral parlour entrance on foot from Fr. Burke Park. Avoid closed streets after 6 p.m. with reference to Upper Dominick Street and William Street West.
Car Parking in the area: Street Parking on Fr. Griffin Road, The Claddagh, Henry Street, Sea Road. and very limited on Munster Avenue.
Car Parks: Claddagh Church, Tesco Fr. Griffin Road and Mill Street which is adjacent to the Garda Station.
