Ita Donnelly née Bates, Kingswood, Blackrock Road, Dundalk and Castleross Nursing Home, Co. Monaghan. Passed away peacefully in the care of the loving staff of Our lady of Lourdes Hospital, surrounded by her loving family on Friday 5th September 2025. Ita much loved wife of Michael, dear mother of Linda, Niall (Joanne), Gillian (Tadhg), Eve, loving grandmother of Daniel, Stephen, Shay, Caoimhe, Jack, Seán, Emma, Oscar, Alex, Grace and Finn and sister of Arthur, Thomas and the late Mona and Michael. Ita will be sadly missed by her husband, son, daughters, grandchildren, son-in-law, daughter-in-law, brother, nephews, nieces, relatives, fellow golfers in Dundalk Golf Club and friends.
May She Rest in Peace.
Ita will repose in McGeoughs Funeral Home, Jocelyn Street (A91 XW66) from 2pm until 5pm on Sunday. Removal on Monday morning via Kingswood to St. Fursey’s Church, Haggardstown, arriving for Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in adjoining Cemetery.
