CAREY (née Synnott) Irene

Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday 29th October 2025. Beloved wife of the late Michael. Dearly loved mother of Ronan, Rachel, Rita and Robert. Cherished sister of Vincent. Predeceased by her siblings Ursula, Denise and James (JJ). Adored grandmother to Tara, Eva, Pat, Jack, Ralph, James, Lucia, Harry and Ben and loving mother-in-law to Mary, Geoff, Ruth and Jonny. She was loved deeply and will be greatly missed by her extended family and wide circle of friends.

 

May she rest in peace.

 

Irene will be reposing this Sunday 2nd November from 3.00pm to 5.00pm in McCrea's Funeral Home, Marine Terrace, Greystones (A63PK81).

 

Removal Monday to St. Patrick's Church, Kilquade (A63TF61) arriving for 2.00pm Funeral Mass which can also be viewed on the following link https://www.youtube.com/live/SQF1ImAM_0Y?feature=shared

followed by interment in Priest - Newtown Cemetery, Kilquade.
