The death has occurred of
Hughie (Hugh) Murphy
Hughie (Hugh) Murphy, Knockiel Drive, Rathdowney, Co. Laois, passed away April 18th 2025, after an illness bravely borne, peacefully, surrounded by his loving and devoted family in the exceptional care of the staff at St. Clare's Ward, Beaumont Hospital, Dublin.
Predeceased by his father Hughie, grandparents Mary and Paddy Houlihan (Garron, Borris in Ossory).
Hughie will be dearly missed by his mother Winnie (née Houlihan) and her partner Steve, brother Garvin, aunts Maureen, Dymphna, Joan and Kathleen, uncle Dan, cousins, extended relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Guilfoyle's Funeral Home, Castletown, (Eircode R32TN84), this Tuesday (April 22nd) from 7pm to 8pm.
Hughie's funeral cortege will arrive at St. Fergal's Church, Camross on Wednesday (April 23rd) for Funeral Mass at 11am, followed by burial in St. Fergal's Cemetery, Camross.
