Gus Egan,

Glenamony, Fivealley, Birr, Offaly.

Gus passed away on September 7th 2025, in the wonderful care of the staff of St. James's Hospital, Dublin, after a short illness.

Gus will be sadly missed by his loving wife, Angela, beloved son and daughter, Kevin and Evelyn, cherished brothers and sisters, Robert, Enda, Bernadette (Carroll) and Ann (Costello), brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, former colleagues at the Department of Agriculture, neighbours and friends.

May Gus Rest in Peace

Gus will repose at Grennan's Funeral Home, Ferbane (R42 HW25) on Friday evening (Sept.12th) from 5pm to 7.30pm.

(Additional parking available in the adjoining Church grounds)

Removal on Saturday morning (Sept.13th) to St. James's Church, Eglish (R42 K377), where his Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 11am, and will be laid to rest afterwards in the adjoining Cemetery.
