The death has occurred of
Frank McCarthy
McCARTHY (Togher Road, Cork and formerly of Gaol Walk, Western Road, Cork): On July 28th, 2025, peacefully at Marymount University Hospital and Hospice, surrounded by his loving family and the caring staff of Marymount Hospice, FRANK (Late Inspector of C.I.E/ Bus Eireann), loving husband of Marie, father of Terry, Fiona (Cronin) and Niamh (Barry-Murphy).
Sadly missed by his loving wife and family, sons-in-law Michael and Dave, daughter-in-law Helena, adored grandchildren Ryan, Conor, Jack, Ruth, Ally, Ciara, Cillian, Aoife, Grace and Lucy, great-granddaughter Claire, relatives and large circle of friends.
Reposing at the Wilton Funeral Home, Sarsfield Road of Jerh. O’ Connor Ltd. on Wednesday (July 30th) from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.
Requiem Mass at 11.00am on Thursday (July 31st) in the Church of the Immaculate Conception, The Lough which can be viewed on here.
Funeral afterwards to St. Finbarr’s Cemetery, Glasheen.
