The death has occurred of
Florence 'Florrie' Whelton
Dagenham, Essex, UK (Formerly of Lettercollum, Timoleague, Co. Cork). On May 26th, 2025 peacefully and surrounded by his loving family at Park View Care Home, Dagenham, Essex, UK. Florrie, beloved husband of the late Kathleen Whelton and much loved father of Carmel, Pauline, Geraldine, Alan and Brian. Brother of the late James, Doney, Francis, and John Joe. Deeply missed by his loving family, sisters Theresa Whelton, Eileen Geary, Josie Deasy, Nora Burke and Carmel Sexton. Grandchildren Kayleigh, Anthony, Jamie, Kitty and Daisy. Sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Requiem Mass on Wednesday 18th June at 11am in the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, Timoleague. Burial afterwards in Kilfachtnabeg Cemetery, Glandore. Messages of sympathy for Florrie's family can be left on the condolence link below or on www.foleyfunerals.ie
The family would like to thank the carers, who took such good care of Florrie during the last few years and showed such kindness and dedication. It is much appreciated.
