Finnuala Carney

The death has occurred of Finnuala Carney, Frenchill, Breaffy, Castlebar and Castlehill Park, Turlough Road, Castlebar, peacefully on 27th July 2025, at Mayo University Hospital, Castlebar.

Predeceased by her parents Martin (Matt) and Cecilia (née Gallen) Carney, Frenchill.

She will be sadly missed by her loving sons Darren and Gary and her daughter-in-law Orla (née Dalton) Claremorris and her brother Sean (Dublin), her adored grandchildren Jayden, Matthew, Sophie, Hanorah and Olivia, her aunts, uncles, cousins, relatives and her good friends.

May she rest in peace.

Finnuala will repose in Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street, Castlebar F23 FD90 on Tuesday 29th July from 6.00pm to 7.30pm.

Removal from Kilcoyne’s Funeral Home on Wednesday at 11.00am, arriving at St. Aloysius Church, Breaffy for Funeral Mass at 11.30am.

After the Funeral Mass Finnuala will be laid to rest in Breaffy Cemetery.

The Funeral Mass will be live-streamed on www.churchtv.ie/breaffy
