Finbarr O'Driscoll

O’DRISCOLL (Teach Cairde (COPE-Horizons) Scartagh, Clonakilty and late of Coolnaclehy, Skibbereen): on July 26th 2025 peacefully after a short illness bravely borne under the outstanding, compassionate and loving care of the staff at Teach Cairde and in the presence of his loving family. FINBARR adored and adoring son of the late Pat and Mary, much loved brother of Teresa (O’Hea), Anne (McCullagh) and Maureen (Harrington), brother-in-law of the late Paidí (McCullagh). Lovingly remembered by his sisters, brothers-in-law Dominic and John Joe, auntie Sheila (O’Connor), nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, ever present friend Helen (Condon), relatives, friends and staff within COPE-Horizons.

Reposing in Hurley & O’Sullivan’s Funeral Home, Skibbereen on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 5pm to 6.30pm followed by Prayers. Requiem Mass on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 12 noon in St. Patrick’s Cathedral, Skibbereen. This will be livestreamed here. Funeral afterwards to St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Coronea, Skibbereen.

The family extends their heartfelt thanks to all the dedicated staff at Teach Cairde for the exceptional care and kindness shown to Finbarr throughout his illness. Sincere thanks also to Dr. Oriel Perrott, Dr. Sean Murray, and the Marymount Palliative Care Team.
