Eugene TAHENY

The death has occurred of Eugene Taheny, Knockbreenagh, Riverstown, Co. Sligo. October 22nd 2025. Peacefully, in the tender care of the staff at University Hospital, Sligo.

Pre-deceased by his beloved parents Eugene and Annie-Marie, brother Kevin and sister Molly. Eugene will be sadly missed but lovingly remembered by his devoted wife Mary, brothers Jimmy and Paddy, sister-in-law Mary, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Shivnan’s Funeral Home, Ballyfarnon, on Friday evening (October 24th) from 5p.m. until 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in Church of the Assumption, Sooey, on Saturday (October 25th) at 12 noon, followed by interment afterwards in St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Sooey.
