Ellen O'Brien

O’Brien Ellen, Sue Ryder House, Nenagh, Co. Tipperary and formerly of Toor, Newport, peacefully aged 102 years on 17th September 2025. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Annie, sisters Mary and Margaret, nephew Tim Kennedy, and infant niece Mary O’Meara. Sadly missed by her loving nieces Anne and Mary, nephews Andrew and Michael, grandnieces Orna, Elizabeth and Margaret, grandnephews, Cian, John, Aaron and Dean, nieces in law, relatives and friends.

Reposing at Meehan’s Funeral Home, Newport on Friday 19th September from 6 to 7.30 p.m. with removal to the Sacred Heart Church Killoscully.

Requiem Mass on Saturday 20th at 11.30 a.m., which can be viewed on www.churchcamlive.ie/ballinahinch-killoscully-parish/. burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery. Special thanks to Sue Ryder Foundation for their kindness and friendship towards Ellen in the past 14 years.
