Ellen (Nellie) Corcoran
(née Lee)

Ellen (Nellie) Corcoran (née Lee), (Marble Crest, Loughboy, Kilkenny City and formerly of Castleinch and Kilmoganny), died peacefully in the exceptional care of all the staff in Tennypark Nursing Home on 18th September, 2025, surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Predeceased by her husband Jim, brothers and sister. Deeply regretted by her daughter Joan (Browne) and son Jim. Forever missed by her son in law Sean, daughter in law Catherine, grand-daughter Roisin and her sister May (UK), extended family, nieces and nephews, good neighbours and a wide circle of friends.

May Nellie Rest in Peace

Nellie will repose at Shasby’s Funeral Home, Kilkenny City on Saturday, 20th September, 2025 from 5pm concluding with rosary and vigil prayers at 7pm. Requiem mass will be celebrated on Sunday (21st September) at 1:30pm in St. Fiacre’s Church, Loughboy, followed by burial in Foulkstown Cemetery. The requiem mass will be live streamed from St. Patrick’s Parish webcam (live only).

Nellie’s family would like to extend their heartfelt appreciation and thanks to the GP Doctor Aylmer and all the staff in Tennypark Nursing Home for all the help and support given to Nellie and her family during her time there.
