Elizabeth Whiston (née McAllister) Bray, Co. Wicklow, late of Dublin and Los Angeles. It is with broken hearts that the Whiston family announce the passing of the beautiful soul of Elizabeth Whiston who died peacefully on 10th September 2025 surrounded by her loving family, in the kind care of staff at Wexford General Hospital.

 

Predeceased by her husband James Roy Whiston and her daughter Eileen Battersby (née Whiston). Will be sadly missed by her loving children Elizabeth, William and Breffni, son-in-law Ted Murphy, daughter-in-law Lorna, adored grandchildren Danny, Damian, Enda, Will, Brian, Kate and Nadia. Ginny mother of Myrna and Amelia, great grandchildren Rory, Quinn, Barra, Iarla and Finn, extended family and friends.

 

Reposing at Thomas Murphy and Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98R673) on Friday 12th September from 5-6pm.

 

Funeral Mass to celebrate Elizabeth’s life is on Saturday 13th September at 10am in The Church of The Most Holy Redeemer, Main Street, Bray, followed by cremation in Glasnevin Crematorium at 1.30pm.
