The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Lizzie) Hand (née Lambe), Drumbracken, Magheracloone, Carrickmacross, who passed away peacefully at her daughter Mary’s residence in Drumerlough Beg, in her 95th year, 8th April, 2025.
Predeceased by her husband Laurence, her parents Owen and Mary Lambe (née Ward), her brother Luke, and her sister Mary. Deeply regretted by her son Laurence, daughters Mary (Emmet Cosgrove) and Catherine (Kevin Daly), grandsons Paul, Luke, Eoin, Niall, and Nevan, her sister Anna (Jim Carroll), sister-in-law Margaret Hand, and her much-loved nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
Rest in Peace
Reposing at Kieran Bros. Funeral Home, Hall Street, Kingscourt (A82 R3W2), on Thursday 10th April, from 2.30pm to 5.30pm, with removal afterwards to St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, Lower Magheracloone, arriving at 7pm. Lizzie’s Funeral Mass will take place on Friday, 11th April, at 11am, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
