The death has occurred of Elizabeth (Liz) Young Nee Hall of Kiltegan Co. Wicklow formerly of Barnagrow, Cootehill, Co Cavan on 11th July 2025.

Elizabeth passed peacefully under the compassionate care of the staff of Naas General Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Predeceased by her mam Sadie, dad RJ and brother Robert.

She will be sadly missed by her loving husband Bertie, her children David, William, Dianne and Lorraine, daughter in laws Cushla and Irene, son in Laws Peter and Stephen, grandchildren Elliott, Billy, Aaron, Elisha, Nathan, Adam, Jeffrey, Kyle, Paddy, Amelia, Glenn, Christopher, Theo, Alfie and Eloise, and her sister Rosemary. Deeply regretted by her brother and sisters in law, nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends.

Elizabeth will be reposing at her residence W91D230 on Saturday 12th July 2025 from 2pm -5pm, house private afterwards.

Removal to arrive at St John the Baptist Church Hacketstown R93 ED74 for 7pm.

Removal to arrive at Knockbride Church of Ireland Knockbride Bailieborough, Co. Cavan on Sunday 13th July for 2pm service. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.
