Elizabeth "Lil" Atkinson

Lil passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and in the wonderful care of the nurses and staff of Sonas Nursing Home Ashborough, Milltown on the 29th of October 2025.

Beloved wife of James and loving mother of Marian, Alan, Eamonn, Tommy and Christopher, Sadly missed by her daughters-in-law Patricia, Sam, Lesley and Rebecca, grandchildren, James, Stephanie, Sophie, Owen, Lily, Robert, Nicola, Katie and Lisa, adored great-grandchildren, sisters Anne and Geraldine, nephews, nieces, grandnephews, grandnieces, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Lil is pre-deceased by her son-in-law Alan and her brothers and sisters.

Reposing at O'Shea's Funeral Home, Killarney this Tuesday the 4th of November from 5:00pm to 6:30pm. Funeral arriving at the Church of the Sacred Heart, Ballyhar on Wednesday morning at 10:50am for Requiem Mass directly at 11:00am. Cremation will take place afterwards at the Island Crematorium, Cork.
