Elizabeth (Betty) Moran
(née Pounds)
Elizabeth (Betty) Moran (née Pounds), of Bray Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully on 2nd August 2025, at St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin, after a short illness. Dearly loved wife of Phil, much loved Mum of Alison, David and Philip, adored by her grandchildren Tristan, Nia, Ruairí, Leah, Cooper and Robyn, lovingly remembered by her son-in-law Naoise, daughters-in-law Ciara and Úna, sisters Marie, Dorry, Margaret and Ann, brothers Paddy and Kevin, brothers-in-law James and Frankie, nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours and friends. Predeceased by her sister Kathleen and brother Freddie.
The family would like to offer a special word of thanks to the nurses
on Our Lady’s ward in St. Vincent’s University Hospital, Dublin
for the care and comfort they gave to Betty during her time there.
Reposing in Colliers Funeral Home, Old Connaught Avenue, Bray on Thursday (7th August) from 4.00pm-6.00pm. Funeral Mass on Friday (8th August) at 11.00am in St. Fergal’s Church, Boghall Road, Bray followed by burial in Springfield Cemetery, Killarney Road, Bray.
