The death has occurred of Eilish Lynch (nee O’Regan), Keelahangil, Castlehaven.

On June 28th, Eilish passed away peacefully at Bantry General Hospital in the prescence of her loving family.

Pre deceased by her sisters Mollie (Flavin), Sheila and her brother Dan.

Beloved wife and best friend of Daniel (Danny), devoted and loving mother of Deirdre. grandmother (Nanzo) to Uriah and Mollie, great-grandmother to baby Fiadh.

Deeply mourned by her husband, daughter, grandchildren and their partners , great-grand-daughter, sister Nora (O’Driscoll) brothers-in-law Noel and Frank, nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Shanahans Funeral Home, Leap on Monday, 30th June from 7pm to 8pm followed by prayers. Eilish's funeral cortége will arrive at St. Barrahanes Church, Castlehaven at 11.15am on Tuesday, 1st July followed by Requiem Mass at 12noon which will be live-streamed on the Funeral Service link below. Cremation service will take place on Wednesday, 2nd July at 1pm in the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy, Cork.

The family would like to acknowledge the wonderful staff of Bantry General Hospital, Dr Ger O’Shaughnessy at Skibbereen Medical centre and all who cared for her at home.
