Eileen passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family and friends, the family like to express their sincere gratitude to all the staff at University Hospital Waterford and The Solas Centre for the excellent care Eileen received.

 

 

Predeceased by her parents Eileen (Eily) Shanahan, Robert (Bobby) Shanahan and brother Maurice Shanahan.

 

Sadly missed, by brothers Eddie, Bob and Dennis, sisters Ann, Eleanor, Maggie, Julie, brothers-in-law Jimmy, Thomas, Paul, Robbie, sisters-in-law Catherine, Theresa, Karin, Edel, nephews and nieces, Gemma, Evan, David, Emma, Robert, Aoife, Stephaine, Leanne, Megan, Sean, Bobby, Gavin, Mia, Michelle, Jamie, grandnieces, grandnephews, extended family, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Thompsons Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Waterford on Tuesday (22nd July) from 7.00pm to 8:30pm with vigil prayers and Rosary at 8.00pm.

 

Eileen’s funeral cortege will walk from her residence on Arbor Road on Wednesday (23rd July) to St. Paul’s Church, Lisduggan, Waterford for Requiem Mass on arrival at 10:00am followed by Private Cremation in The Island Crematorium.

 

Mass will be live streamed at 10:00am on Wednesday by following the Funeral Service link below:

 

House private at all times please.

 

No Flowers please, donations if desired to The Solas Centre
