Eileen McMahon (née Heaney)

Belfry Crescent, Dundalk and formerly of Kilwilke Estate, Lurgan, Co. Armagh.

Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, 23rd July 2025 in the wonderful care of the staff at St. Teresa's Ward, Beaumont Hospital, with her loving husband by her side.

Predeceased by her parents Michael and Bridget, and her son Eddie.

Beloved wife, childhood sweetheart and soul mate of Hugh, dear mam of Michael, Pearse, Noel, Paul and Nicola.

Eileen will be sadly missed by her heartbroken husband, sons, daughter, son-in-law Emmet, daughters-in-law Tracey, Emma and Ana, Michael's partner Shirley, her many adored grandchildren, Aaron, Amy, Iarla, Pearse Og, Turlough, Tiernan, Ailbhe, Liana, Sandra, Cintia, James, Jessica, and Sophia, brothers Michael and Francis, sister Christina, brother-in-law Tony, sister-in-law Brenda, nephews, nieces, extended family relatives, the many foster children she has cared for over the years especially Becky, Stephen, Brandon and Christopher, and also her little dog Freddie.

 

At Peace

 

Reposing at Shevlin’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street [A91Y3CX] on Friday from 4pm to 8pm.

Removal on Saturday morning from her home, Belfry Crescent [A91T6DC] at 10.10am on foot to St. Joseph’s Redemptorist Church [A91WY98] arriving for Funeral Mass at 10.30am, followed by a private cremation service.
