Eileen Fitzsimons, née Darcy, Monadreen, Thurles Co.Tipperary and formerly Mountrath Road, Portlaoise, Co. Laois. Peacefully, after a short illness. In the wonderful care of the staff of Tipperary University Hospital. Predeceased by her parents Patrick and Kathleen Darcy. Deeply regretted by her loving family; husband Bernie, daughter Mary, son John, grandchildren especially Amy and Nicole, great-grandchildren, John's partner Liz, brother Adrian, sister Catherine, nephews, nieces, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing in Hugh Ryan's Funeral Home, Slievenamon Road, Thurles on Sunday 25th May from 5pm to 7pm. Arriving at the Church of St. Joseph and Brigid, Bothar na Naomh, Thurles on Monday 26th May at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in SS Peter and Paul's Cemetery, Portlaoise at 1pm.
