Edward (Eddie) Canty, (Hyde Road, Limerick and Millbrae Lodge Nursing Home. Late Plumber UHL, EETPU, and Young Munster RFC) .
July 28th 2025 peacefully at University Hospital Limerick.
Beloved husband of Maura. Dearly loved father of Kieran, John, Deirdre and the late Sheila. Sadly missed by his loving son-in-law Aidan, daughters-in law Miriam and Ann, his cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great, great granddaughter, sister Dolores, nephews, nieces, extended family, neighbours, friends and companion Rita. Predeceased by his brother Gerard and sister Marie.
May he rest in peace.
Reposing at Thompson’s Funeral Home, Thomas Street on Wednesday (30th July) from 4.30pm to 6pm. Funeral arriving at The Dominican’s Church, Glentworth Street on Thursday (31st July) for Requiem Mass at 11.30am followed by Cremation Service in Shannon Cremation at 1pm.
