Dorothy Ansell
(née Irwin)
Dorothy Ansell (née Irwin), Constable Hill, Hacketstown, Co. Carlow and formerly of Enniskillen, Co. Fermanagh – 19th October 2025 peacefully after a short illness in her 103rd year at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny surrounded by her loving family; predeceased by her loving husband Arthur John, sisters Vera and Phyllis and brother Ernest. Sadly missed by her daughters Muriel, Marjorie, Rosemary and Helen, sons Noel, David and Ken, daughters-in-law, sons-in-law and partners, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces, neighbours, relatives and friends.
Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Station Road, Rathvilly (Eircode R93 C560) on Tuesday from 4pm with removal from there at 7pm for private reposal.
Funeral arriving to Adelaide Memorial Church, Myshall on Wednesday for 12 noon Service after which she will be laid to rest with Arthur in the adjoining Churchyard.
