The death has occurred of
Des Deegan
Des Deegan, Frenchpark, Roscommon, formerly Dublin and Oldcastle, Co. Meath, tragically following an accident on 18th June 2025. Deeply regretted by his partner Alice (Hetherton). Sadly missed by family, relatives, neighbours and friends.
Special consideration at this very sad time to Des's children Tony, Brian, Denise and Simon.

Des will be reposing in Gibneys Funeral Home, Oldcastle (A82 D376), on Wednesday evening 6th August from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Funeral Mass on Thursday (7th August) morning at 10:00 am in St. Brigid’s Church, Oldcastle, with burial afterwards in Ballinlough Cemetery.
