David Kirwan

David Kirwan (Newpark Close and formerly of Jacob Street, Kilkenny City) peacefully at his home on 29th July 2025 surrounded by his loving and devoted family. Predeceased by his mother Anne and father Maurice, brother Kevin and infant brother Martin. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his sisters and brother, Siobhan, Loretto, Annette, Frances, Monica, Catherine, Helen and Maurice. David will be forever missed by his nephews Mark, Cathal and all his other nieces and nephews, extended family, good neighbours, wide circle of friends and his beloved pet Scrappy.

MAY DAVID REST IN PEACE

David will repose at Shasby’s Funeral Home Kilkenny City on Thursday 31 July 2025 from 5pm to 7pm with rosary and vigil prayers at 6.30pm. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Friday (1st August) at 10.30am in St. John’s Church, followed by burial in St. Kieran’s Cemetery.

The Funeral Cortége will walk from David’s residence Newpark Close on Friday morning at 10am to St. John’s Church.

The Kirwan Family would like to extend their sincere thanks to all the Staff in St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny and University Hospital Waterford for their help and support given to David and his family during his illness.
