David Griffin (Griff) Dr. Murphy Place Portlaoise and formerly of Idrone Park Carlow, at the Beacon Hospital, Dublin, surrounded by his loving family, following a long illness, bravely borne.

Devoted father to Sean and Melanie. Dearly loved son of Michael and Elizabeth, deeply regretted by his heartbroken children, parents, brother Michael and Kevin, grandmother Edna, sister-in-law Marion & Kevin's partner Louise. Michael Snr's wife Mag, Uncles, Aunts. David's partner Gillian and his children's mother Dana. Relatives, and all his friends and colleague's in The Irish Prison Service.

Reposing at Keegans Funeral Home, Portlaoise on Sunday afternoon from 2pm - 6pm.

Removal on Monday to arrive at Newlands crematorium for 2.30pm via the Midlands Prison.

Funeral is being conducted in respect of David's wishes.
