The death has occurred of David (Davy) O’Shea,
Suir Crescent, Mooncoin, County Kilkenny. Aged 81 years. Davy passed away peacefully on Sunday morning 2nd November 2025 at his home, in the arms of his loving family. Pre-deceased by his recently deceased son Gerald.
Davy, cherished husband of Hannah, beloved father of Derek, Jamie, Gerald (deceased), Elaina and Andrea and son of the late Matthew and Ellen (nee Power). Davy will be deeply missed by all who loved him, his brothers Matty, Paddy, Tony, sister Judy & their families, his many in-laws in the Holden family and his grandchildren, Brían, Fía, Jules, Molly, George, Harry, Alfie, Lucy, Ellen, Aoife, David, Bella, Hanna and Finn.

Reposing on Monday (3rd November 2025) at Donnacha Doyle & Sons Funeral Home, Grannagh, Kilmacow from 5.30pm until 7:30pm. Davy’s funeral cortége will leave his family home on Tuesday morning and walk to the Church of the Assumption Mooncoin for requiem mass at 11:00am followed by burial in the new cemetery Mooncoin.
