Mary Carey

Mary was a very special person to many of us, she had a heart of gold, and a smile that travelled straight to other hearts. when Mary smiled, it was like she knew something pure and better about life than most of us. I received a text from Mary the night she died, when I woke up in the morning our mutual friend Noeleen was outside my door in tears, Mary had died in the middle of the night. It was so shocking and sad, I still have moments when I think I can call her. My heart goes out to all of her children and grandchildren, brothers and sisters. We will all miss you Mary, there was only one of you. Love Pierce x

So very sad to hear of Mary’s passing and the loss of such bright light. Always the lady even when as children we were running wild in the sand dunes of Curracloe and having tea on South Main St with Auntie Peggy.
