I had the honour of working with Eamonn as part of his role as Chairman at Centrus. He was a universally popular colleague whose charm, warmth and kindness would lift up all in his presence. He provided valued guidance and wisdom that will stay with those lucky enough to have spent the time with him. Deepest condolences to his family and friends.

My condolences to the Eagan family on such a sad loss. I am genuinely sorry to lose such a good friend. Eamonn always had a kind word and was always great company whenever we were together ,Our time together on the board of the British Irish chamber of commerce, and together in the Royal Dublin society . Social events were always social events when Eamonn was there, and his Charm and personality always made the occasion one worthwhile. RIP

I am so sorry to hear this tragic news. I have nothing but fond memories of working with Eamonn as a colleague and friend during his time at Lloyd’s over 18 years or so. I will always remember attending the special 1916 Centenary celebrations with Eamonn as his guest together with me Mam to the Irish Embassy in London and being so overwhelmed with the amount of people he knew. He had a welcome for everyone. I will miss his visits to Lloyd’s in London, our lunches and chats. My heart goes out to your family Eamonn and may God give you strength as you hold each other tight. Rest in peace dearest Eamonn x
