Christy Moorehouse

Christy Moorehouse, late of Ballinteskin, Wicklow, and Rockvalley Drive, Kilmacanogue, Co. Wicklow, passed away peacefully on Monday, 27th October 2025, surrounded by his loving family and in the tender care of the staff at Wicklow Hospice.

Beloved husband of the late Cindy (née O’Brien) and son of the late Christy. Deeply missed and forever loved by his heartbroken family — his mother Anne, sons Christy and Jonno, daughters Alana and Mary, sons-in-law Luke and William, daughters-in-law Nikita and Margaret, and his adored grandchildren Christy, Luke, and baby Christy.

Sadly missed also by his sisters Girl, Moo, and Maggie; his brothers Johnny, Jimmy, Joe, Andy, Denis, Doey, and Billyboy (predeceased by his brothers Paddy and Mick and his mother-in-law Mary); his father-in-law John O’Brien; brothers-in-law Dennis and Bonner; sisters-in-law Lizzie, Bridge, Nan, Nelly, Maggie, Ally, Jackie, Sharon, Louise, and Kathleen; nieces, nephews, extended family, neighbours, and friends.

Reposing at Thomas Murphy & Sons Funeral Home, Boghall Road, Bray (A98 R673) on Wednesday 29th October, from 5pm to 6pm.

Funeral Prayers on Thursday 30th October at 11.30am in Our Lady Queen of Peace Church, Putland Road Bray followed by burial in Rathnew Cemetery.
